Read MoreJandy and I had some wonderful times in NYC when she was living in the 50's. I only just heard the tragic news today. My prayers have already gone out to Jandy as well as to her mother, brothers, sisters and her daughters. Always cherished receiving her Christmas photo cards. Prayers will continue and she will live on in love.

My youngest daughter, Kristin, went to school with Christina which is how I became friends with Jandy. I spoke to her a few months ago and found out her cancer had returned. I've been thinking of her a lot lately and was so saddened to see her obituary in today's paper. Christina and Lauren, your Mom was a good woman and loved you both very much. I know you'll both miss her desperately as will those of us who considered her a friend. Take care of yourselves and God Bless.
