I did not know Mrs. Hopkins well but I remember her as a teacher at Fitch Junior High, as it was called back in the early 1960's. She always seemed like a very nice person. Mrs. Hopkins may you RIP.

Dear Mrs. Hopkins, you are one of my all time favorites! I think of you from time to time from when I was in your classroom. Sometimes you tried to be stern when you needed to be, but I could see and feel the smile and laughter behind your look of authority. Mrs. Hopkins was my English teacher at Fitch Junior High School in the1964-65 school year. I remember her with great fondness, not only for being an excellent teacher with high standards but also because she cared for us as her students. A great soul. My condolences to her family.

I had the privilege to work with Mary at Fitch middle school. She was a wonderful educator at a very caring person.
