Mary “Lynne” (Feeney) Jackson passed away peacefully on August 13th at 90 years young. Born in Joliet, IL on August 19, 1934, her family relocated to Phoenix in 1944. She attended St. Francis Elementary school and was a graduate of Xavier High School in 1952. She married Ralph Jackson in 1955. She was a founding member of St. Louis The King Parish and longtime member of St. Thomas More Parish. She was an avid reader, loved to crochet, go to the movies, listen to Frank Sanatra and enjoyed her dark chocolate sweets before bed. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed water aerobics and lunch with her swimming ladies. Most of all she loved spending the summers at the family cabin in Mormon Lake, AZ where she never had to cook. Known affectionately as “Party Grandma” by her grandkids, she enjoyed her evening glass of Jameson’s. Her first career was raising her seven children and then worked outside her home for 17 years before retiring to take care of her mother during her final year. She is survived by Anne Westerman (Robert), Kevin Jackson (Tina), Carolyn Freiwald (Doug), Mary Lynne Mekenney (Keith) and Eileen Burch (Cecil) as well as her 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is

proceeded in death by her husband Ralph, brothers Bill and Jim Feeney, daughter Kathryn Blair and son Steve Jackson (Linda). She always loved you “more”! Service will take place on Monday, September 8th 10:30am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley.
