Mrs. Charlotte Denese Simon Jackson, age 54 was born August 16, 1971 to the parentage of Mrs. Marilyn Lovon Simon and the late Mr. Charlie Simon, Sr. She departed this life Sept. 25, 2025 at her home.

"Fannie Bell", as she was lovingly called, united with New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She was a graduate of Jackson High School and furthered her education at Alabama Southern Community College in Thomasville, AL.

She enjoyed fishing, traveling, listening to music, interacting with people, but most of all, she loved flowers.

In addition to her father, Charlotte was preceded in death by her son, Clay Deandre Young and a brother, Derrick O'Neal Simon.

She is survived by her loving and devoted family: mother, Mrs. Marilyn Simon; three brothers, Charlie Simon, David Gray and Christopher Michael Gray, all of Jackson, AL; one sister, Petina (Kenson) St. Bernard of Atlanta, GA; one aunt, Christie Mae Simon; four uncles, Robert Robinson, Joe English, James Simon, William Robinson; a special friends, Diane Richardson, Sheneka Sewell, Sylvia Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; a special friend, Eugene Leverett.

Viewing Friday, October 3, 2025, 4-6pm at Andrews Funeral Home Chapel One. Viewing Saturday, 10am until the 11 am service at New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 56 New Canaan Church Road (Choctaw Bluff), Alabama, Rev. Hurley James, pastor and eulogist. Following the interment in the church cemetery, the family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Marilyn Simon, 475 McLean Road, Choctaw Bluff.
