I admired Ann greatly. The description of her in the obituary says it all. Mary Ann was a warm and welcoming. Losing both parents so young and so close together must be very hard. I'm am so sorry for your loss.

My sincere sympathies to Ann, Kevin and the rest of Mary Ann´s family. Mary Ann was very supportive to me not only during our teaching careers, but also in these last few years enjoying our retirement. She will forever have a special place in my heart and memories.

Mary Ann and I started teaching at ULES the same school year, and retired at the same time. We raised our families at the same time, cheered at soccer, and little league games, shared our love of teaching, and so much more. She was a dear friend that will be missed. Condolences to her entire family. Rest In Peace my friend!
