Mary Ortiz Obituary

Mary L. Ortiz was born on September 13, 1938 and has left us to be with the Lord on March 8, 2011. She was a loving and kind mother, nana and sister. She will be remembered for her innocent, angelic smile that would touch your soul, for her kind heart and love for the Oakland Raiders. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ortiz; sisters, Celia Ransome, Celina Robles and mother, Maria T. Robles. She is survived by her brothers, Jose and Raymond Robles; son, Daniel Ortiz; daughters, Barbara (Mickey) Raper, Lilia (Robert) Ortiz and her five grandson, Adrian Munoz, Christopher and Michael Arvizu and Bryan and Matthew Raper. She also had many nieces and nephews. Mary was a miracle, who had battled many illnesses in the past year but her will to live kept her alive. She will forever be cherished in our hearts and memories. Mom, I know that you are an angel that was put on this earth to look upon us, please give us the strength to move forward. We love you and will miss you. A special thanks to La Canada Care Center for all your wonderful care. Visitation will be held on Sunday Mach 13, 2011 at Capilla Senor de los Milagros, 3610 S. 16th Ave. starting at 5:00 p.m. and a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1220 S. 6th Ave. at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements handled by HEATHER MORTUARY.
