Mary Pavano Obituary

Mary J. (Cassarino) Pavano, 102, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2020. She was born in New Britain, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Josephine (Ciccio) Cassarino. She was a Communicant of Saint Ann Church and a seamstress at the former Sokol Brothers. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Pavano, in 1989. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa "Terry" Anello and her husband Sal of Newington; two sons, Carl Pavano of Windsor and Gerald Pavano and his wife Joanne of West Hartford; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her three sisters and her brother. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, February 4th, from 10-11AM at the New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, followed by a funeral service at 11AM. Entombment will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, Stanley St., New Britain. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., FL 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
