Mary Anne was a friend and esteemed colleague during her years teaching 8 th grade math and Math 1 at Farnsworth Middle School in Guilderland. Her students always came first and she gave herself completely to their success. Mary Anne was also a loyal friend and staunch teacher unionist in the early days of collective bargaining and teacher rights and empowerment.
