Not sure what to say?

Since 1985 Mary "dared to care" so deeply for my family and me and her dedication and commitment to us went far beyond what would be expected. Mary - You were my rock that was always there for me and you guided me through the most difficult times of my life. You always carefully listened to my concerns at any hour of any day and you always provided me with direct and meaningful insights and a comforting perspective on how to overcome the difficulties and challenges I confronted. Our deepesr sympathy and thoughts go out to Mary's family. Grateful for the opportunity to have experienced a wonderful woman and her family for a short measure of time. It was truly apparent she was a woman who left behind a legacy of a life well lived.

Mary was a remarkable woman--caring, strong and wonderfully alive. I knew her as David's mother when I taught at Calhoun, and then as a therapist. I cannot tell you how much she meant to me, and will never forget those compassionate eyes.

Mary greeted everyone with a warm smile and open heart. After being friends for over 20 years, our annual visits were like we saw each other daily. She was always passionate for her causes and truly made a difference in the lives she touched. We will all miss her. Warm thoughts to her family.

We send our love and sympathy to Mary's family. May her memory be eternal.

Mary is a Dana Hall classmate and uniquely wonderful. What an amazingly giving life! So terribly sorry not to have her for many years more.
