Mary Ann Keith Stephany passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016 at the age of 63. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her life. She was the cherished wife of 43 years to Atwood John Stephany Jr. Loving mother of Jennifer Stephany Perez. Proud grandmother of Brandon Stephany and Valerie Perez. Sister of Lawrence John Keith Jr. (Toni), Melanie Keith Lott (Lavern) and Marie Louise Keith Audler (Chester). Sister-in-law of Brenda Stephany and Colette Stephany Scardino. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Bernice Zoerner Keith. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Mary Ann was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish where she enjoyed a long career helping others as a nurse and an employee of St. Margaret's Daughters Nursing Home. I met Maryann when I started at St Margaret's 7yrs ago I worked the week-end nights on the same floor she worked on. She was so helpful showing me the paper work because I had never worked in a Nursing Home i had been an ICU nurse. She was so kind and helpful, one of the nicest nurses i have worked with and she helped everybody she could. Maryann will be truly missed."May The Blessed Mother keep a watchful eye over. her family and May Her Son Grant them His Peace."

I will always remember her and her egg salad sandwiches she fixed for me and Jennifer as kids. May she rest in peace knowing that there are many that will be missing her every day. Love and hugs to the family.

Mary Ann, we love you so much and miss you. I know you will always be near living in our hearts.

A light from our family is gone
A voice we loved is stilled
A place is vacant in the home
Which never can be filled.

We have to mourn the loss of one
We would've loved to keep
But God who surely loved her best
Has finally made her sleep.

After a lifetime of her love and joy
And music to fill our ears
God leaves these wondrous memories
To help us through the years.
