Not sure what to say?

I can't believe it has been five years since Mary passed. After she left us, I went to visit to convey my respects personally to Judge Ugast. He welcomed me enthusiastically. We chatted about Mary and various other topics of the day. Sadly, it was the last time I had the pleasure of speaking with him. What an extraordinary couple who contributed so much to the city they called home and its people.

Dear Chief Judge Ugast, Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved wife, Mary. We were out of town and just learned about this. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Keith & Patricia Watters

Keith & I were away for a week,

Chief Judge Ugast - May the love and memories you hold in your heart always sustain you and bring you comfort. It will be a year next month that my mother(Gus)passed. She always enjoyed her time as your secretary. We wish time spent with those we love could last forever and in our hearts it will. Trudy

My dear Judge Ugast neighbor and friend and to all the Ugast clan

I was deeply saddened to learn that Mary died ten days ago. We share a great many laughs during our shared lives at The Wrstchester. Sadly I now live in Mexico for much of the year and missed the gathering to celebrate her life. It was a rich life indeed. To find Fred and then bring such a remarkable group of children into this world. I will miss her bright smile laughter and wit.

We are so sorry to have learned of Mary's passing. She was a source of constant and continuous brightness in the Superior Court family. When you think of happy and rewarding marriages, you naturally thing of the Ugasts. Our deepest condolences to Chief Judge Ugast and the Ugast family.

Our deepest sympathy to all of you..
Mary will be greatly missed by all of us
who knew her from our Blessed Sacrament
days and beyond!
sincerely,
Eileen and Tom, and family

Deepest sympathy and prayers for you and your family.

I'll best remember Mary's humor and sense of mischief. When I was dating the girl across the street, Nancy Ash, in 1951 or so. During the formal good night kiss on the front porch we could always count on the flickering on and off of the Ugast porch light! We're still married and have enjoyed the whole Ugast family over our lifetimes. What a celebration her life was! Chuck Duvall MD

The world is not as good a place as it was before Mary Ugast left it. It was a privilege to have known her and shared some time with her over the years. She was so much fun! I will miss her smile and that twinkle in her eye. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole Ugast family.
