Not sure what to say?

Dear Erin and Jean: Mary was one of my favorite students and the best stage manager a director could have. She was also a dear friend. We will truly miss her and her sense of humor that made us laugh. Unfortunately, negativity becomes habitual for many of us. However, this was not the case with Mary. She laughed instead of complained. She chose to see the bright side of life. Her bright side will be sorely missed! In fondest memories, Carl and Dr. Roma Drevets-Martin

We just heard the sad news about Mary. Mary helped me with our Myeloma support group a few yrs ago. She was another myeloma warrior in this terrible battle. She and her surviving family will be in our prayers.
With deep sympathy, Jeff & Kathy Cartwright

Knew her only briefly, but always had a smile on her face and made you feel like you belonged.

My heart broke when I saw the news of Mary's death in the KC Star. We were locker partners all through jr high and high school, because we were in alphabetical order in both places. We shared homeroom, and sat together at graduation from North. Thank goodness we were also lab partners in chemistry class....Mary knew even then that she wanted to be a pharmacist and she wasn't afraid to mix all that stuff together like I was! I think I would have flunked without her! We were both in Thespians;...

I had the privilege of working with Mary at La Clinica several years ago. I talked with her about her nursing studies which she undertook to serve the disadvantaged in third world countries.
She was a bright, gracious and generous person who I greatly admired.
My condolences to her family and friends.

Mary is the owner of our rental home on Magnolia Pl We grew very fond of her over the years. She was a little spitfire and that's what we admired about her. Our deepest condolences to her family and friends. She will truly be missed.

Erin and family, Rob and I want to express our deepest sympathy. We only met once, sadly, at your brother Jimmy's funeral, yet I felt you were much like your Mom. Your Mother was my selfless Angel in one of my darkest moments. She took me under her wing when Rob was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in November 2011 and lovingly spoke and guided us thru our first stem cell transplantation. She visited us in the hospital and we became friends. I truly don't know how I would have made it...

I also worked with Mary as a Multiple Myeloma Journey Partner and enjoyed her very much. She will very much be missed by many, including us MMJP's. Prayers and sympathies to the family and friends of Mary.

I had a chance to meet Mary through the Multiple Myeloma Journey Partners Program. Mary was a founding member of the program and her presence will be missed. My thoughts and prayers for Mary and her family.
