Dear friends, I am so sorry I didn't know Mary had passed, until last Friday. I'm ashamed to say I've been avoiding the notices in the paper, lately. Mary was such a vibrant and warm woman. Folks definitely knew when she was in the room! She'll be missed, but remembered, always. My love and hugs go out to you, all. Mary was one heck of a special lady!!

Deane, Alex, and Dana...what a terrible loss for you all and for the world. Mary was a one of a kind, unique individual who spoke her peace to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She made her presence known to all wherever she was. Deane, you were fortunate enough to have married her. And Alex and Dana, and grandchildren, were blessed to raised by her and Deane.
