Not sure what to say?

I can't help but weep in sorrow for the loss of this young soldier. He will forever be missed by his family.

I feel for you everyday, losing your son must be the hardest thing in the world. Love to your family

"The legacy of heroes is the memory of a great name and the inheritance of a great example." --Benjamin Disraeli
Matt, know you are proudly serving in heaven's ranks and their are no words that can describe how you have touched my life. I've had the good fortune to collaborate with your father and consider him to be a patriotic cohort and a dear friend. From one warrior to another, will always be with you in spirit and rest assured I will never forget you and our cohorts who gave all...

I was in Kuwaitt in 2006, and saw a tribute to Matt Maupin. I took the picture home with me, and I have had that picture on my tree for 10 years now. His picture will always be on my tree, to remind me what a wondeful, brave, handsome young man he was, and of the sacrifice he made for our country. God Bless you Hatt, and your wonderful parents! You will not be forgotten. Carol King

Very sorry for your loss. I was looking for an announcement re a friend's son and came across Matt. He looks like a sweet-heart.

KNOW SWEET MATT AND FAMILY THAT I WILL WORK HARD TO KEEP UP YOUR MEMORY ALWAYS AND CONTINUE TO WORK FOR THE YELLOW RIBBON SUPPORT CENTER WITH YOUR DAD!

THOUGH I DID NOT KNOW YOU PERSONALLY, I FEEL I HAVE LOST ANOTHER SON...YOU ARE AMERICA'S SON!

GOD HAS YOU NOW IN THE PALM OF HIS MIGHTY AND MERCIFUL HAND.

LET US NEVER FORGET!!

You were a great friend..I'll never forget you rest in Heaven my love

I never met Matt, even though I am his great uncle. I know he is resting in GOD'S arms tonight. He made the ultimate sacrifice helping the rest of us remain free in the best country in the world. I'm sitting here tonight trying to say something to make Keith and Carolyn feel better, although its six years they are still hurting. what I am sure is this; GOD has a plan for each and every one of us. Someday you will have the answer to "why my son?"
