I grew up with Richie in Massapequa Park; I never knew Matt. But Rich, Thank God for Dads like you who raise Heros. Matthew, thank you for your service- you are a hero to an entire nation. God bless Richie and the entire family.

Matt; Marc, Michelle and Violet have moved into there new home in Oregon. They need you to watch over them. I miss you, Love Dad.

My brother Eric and I are members of the MTAPD, and my Brother recently became a k9 cop. He choose to name his dog after you after hearing your story and all the countless things your family has done for other military families. It is an honor and a priviledge to have "Matty" as a new member of our family and to be able to memoralize you. We will treat him well and I know he will represent your name proudly!! Thank you for all you have done and your sacrifice for our freedoms! God bless...

Matt, Tomorrow is the 6th anniversary of the day you left us. We just celebrated your 26th birthday last week and we survived the past 10 days of pain. We tried to remember the good times and your special smile but always tears come to our eyes. We miss you more than anyone could ever imagine. I hope and pray that your blood spilled in Iraq has a positive meaning one day. You are missed. Love Dad.
