I worked with Matt at New Relic. I started on his team, and I even got to meet him in person my first week on the job in San Francisco, pre-covid, which was especially lucky. Our paths diverged and merged off-and-on over the years, but I always looked forward to the opportunity to work with him. And, as the pandemic dragged on, it felt extra special to catch up at company on-site events at the couple of opportunities we had. I looked forward to every meeting and call with Matt. He was smart as hell and funnier than that. You'd leave a conversation with him fired up and ready to go. His fierce love and loyalty for what he cared about shone through and you couldn't help but be inspired. What a beautiful person, Matt Culmone. May his memory be a blessing.

I would like to respectfully convey this message Matt's family. To his wife Anna, his children Nathaniel and Victoria, his dear mother Cathy, and his sister Sara.
