I have fond memories of you, brother Sean who was a good friend of mine introduced me to you when we were children, although the last time we saw each other was in 1983.

Just saw this today. My heart is broken. I had searched for Matthew on the social media for many many years and could not find him. I met Matthew on Cape Cod in 1979. We had a wonderful summer romance with so many laughs, I will never forget... because so few people ever made me laugh that hard! Hard to believe we lost you a year ago. Miss our texts, phone calls and dinners when you were in town. Especially your "be nice to your mother" comments on a weekly basis.

Dear Matty, You were such a fun loving & generous soul. Will always remember meeting you at karaoke on the Cape singing 'Summer Winds' together, taking your recommendation to stay at El Velero in Costa Rica and our last time together out on the town in Quincy & Boston with Joe Dirico.

Matty had such a fun loving and generous heart. I will always remember meeting him singing 'Summer Winds' with him at Karoake in Dennis, then taking his recommendations to go to stay at the El Velero in Costa Rica and then these photos from our last time together- a super night on the town in Quincy & Boston.
