Not sure what to say?

Uncle Matt was a great guy, I'm so happy my kids had him in their lives & that they we're able to know his family as well. You will be missed.

Matt was an extraordinary person with a tremendous work ethic. He had a special way of challenging people to do their very best. He always carried himself with such dignity and pride. He was a gentleman and had a wonderful smile. I knew Matt for many years. We grew up in the same community. I also had the good fortune of working with him at Idaho Power Company. My very deepest sympathy to all of you in the loss of such a good husband, father, son, brother and friend. My thoughts and prayers...

So sorry for your loss. I went to high school with Matt. He was such a nice guy and he will be missed! Prayers go out to his family and friends. May God bless you during this most difficult time.

A few mutual friends who knew him well have been his proud supporters throughout his professional...

Matt was a wonderful guy with a great smile and a kind heart. The world is a little poorer now that Matt has left us, but heaven is certainly a better place now that he is there.

Amazing man and incredible friend. Prayers to Cathie and the girls.

Oh I am heartbroken. Matt was always so kind and sweet. He was one of the most handsome talented people I knew and so humble. The world lost a great man. My heart goes out to all of his wonderful family. My prayers are with you

We were saddened to hear of Matts trials and then his passing. He was such a great guy. Val coached Matt in Rigby in about 1974 in the baseball Babe Ruth league for 13-14-15 year olds. We occasionally would cross paths in Boise, in the Statehouse, at a Hawks game etc and he always remembered us and would always address Val as "Coach". What a wonderful, successful life he made for himself albeit it was cut way too short. We are so grateful that we were able to know Matt, and would have...
