Not sure what to say?

You are missed Matt . You were a huge part of my childhood and teenage memories growing up. I hope your up there hanging out with Uncle Monte and Marc sitting by a campfire just like on Orcas all of those summers.

Still think of you old friend. My oldest is headed to WWU in fall, haven't been back to Bellingham much since back in our heyday so it's brought back a ton of memories. My kid is the exact opposite of me so it's hard to explain some of the adventures I had with you but I love pointing out places where we hung out and caused havoc.

Love you, my friend. May you rest in eternal peace, Matt!

I love you Dad.

Oh look, its me again! I suppose this whole page is a bit morose; which I suppose is not what you would want for everybody who loves you, so I can just say happy things. Im 12, I have a best friend, a few actually. Im going to a concert soon, I am playing soccer. I like music, and archaeology, I want to live in London when I get older, Mom and Josie are doing okay.. Im taller now-- althought not by much, I dont quite fit in at school nut i have alot of friends outside of school so thats okay....

matt ..i had not seen you in a few years..i googled your name and had found out you had passed.this is very disheartening.you were a good friend.very compasionate.very personable.always welcoming.and laughing and smililng most all of the time .i know that you love your daughter as much as a father could, and more...so sad to not known this for sometime.like someone pulled the carpet right out from under me."we're only here for a cup of coffee",....
you are missed my friend.

Matt, It was an honor to have known you. We met through a mutual friend and even though you did not know me well, you treated me as if we had been childhood friends. I will be thinking of you whenever I head up to Mt. Baker. Take it easy up there.

Matt was one of the most unique individuals I have had the privilege to know in my life. I'm very sorry to hear he is no longer with us. Life is a bit dimmer and I wish I had been able to tell him what an amazing person I thought he was.
