Not sure what to say?

Berwyn and family. We just returned from an extended trip in Maryland and learned of Matt's passing. We were shocked and saddened. He was a great person and will be missed. We were always impressed with his super personality and positive attitude. Please accept our deepest sympathy. God Bless!!! Jack and Alice Buehler

To Matt's Family,

I was so shocked to hear the news. Matt will be greatly missed. He helped me and my family with a home that had been in the family for years and with the 911 events, I couldn't handle the stress. He was a truly caring individual and sent me before and after renovation pictures of Grandpa's house. I will never forget his kindness. I wish your family all the best.

Matt,
Working with you was a privledge and a pleasure.I saw you busy, tired, frustrated but I never saw you angry. You brightened the world and you are missed.Thank you for being part of my world.

Berwyn and Family: It was s shock to all of us who knew Matt and worked with him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. From all of us at the Arnot Law Firm.

To Matt's Family,
I used to work with Matt at Bank of Loleta and he was always had a smile on his face. Matt had a great sense of humor and really enjoyed pulling a prank on someone at work. I will really miss seeing Matt and his white dog driving around town. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To Don, Nancy, Alice, Steve, Berwyn, Julie and Garrett and relatives, Our thoughts are with you. We didn't know Matt personally but he comes from a family of thoughtful, caring people, and we know we missed something by not having known him. May your faith sustain you and the prayers and love of family and friends. Sincerely, Claudia and Bob

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Matt, my heart goes out to you and your family. We were classmates in Ferndale. He was always a nice person. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care and take time.

I never met Matt, but came to know him through business connections. He was unfailingly cheerful and very pleasant to talk with -- obviously one of those rare "really great guys." My heart is glad to know of his faith, and so very sad for the pain and loss being experienced by his family and friends. My prayers are with you.

I didn't really know Matt later in life, but I did have the pleasure of knowing him when he was a little boy. Matt was my neighbor and best friend for a couple of years when he lived in Arcata before moving to Ferndale. Matt was a great friend, the kind you remember for life. It was a big loss to me when Matt moved. My heart goes out to all the family and friends that are suffering in this time of loss.
