Glassford, Matthew S. Died suddenly on April 8, 2014, at the age of 48. Resident of River West. Son of Donna and Donald Glassford. Brother of Marshall Glassford (Nicole). Step-father of Holly and Aaron Shagen. A memorial visitation will take place at 3:30 PM followed by a celebration of Matthew's life at 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 4 at Salem Lutheran Church, 2400 N. Cramer Street, Milwaukee. Memorials may be made to the family in Matthew's honor.

Matt, where did the time go, buddy? Matt and I have been buddies since we began reigning over Milwaukee's East Side, in the crazy days in the late 70's, before we could drive. We rode our bikes, looking at the Plymouth and Dodge muscle cars that UWM students drove to class in those days. Soon after, we were both licenced, and the quiet East Side would never be the same. I will always think of Matt everyday now just as I always have since I met him in 1978. We shared many life experiences and I always considered him a brother. My sincere condolences to family and friends.
