Not sure what to say?

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to Francis and all the family. We are so saddened to hear this news. The loss of such a great young man and Hero is heartbreaking. Love to you all. He is with you always.

God took you too soon Matthew. I'm so glad we got a chance to meet. I bragged so much about you and your wonderful family. So proud to call you cousin. I know your soul is still here and know you and our additional angels with guide and watch out for Jackie and the girls. Until we meet again.

Our sympathy to his family. Cousins Argie and Jerry Grader

My interaction with Matt only goes back about a year, and was in a professional capacity with Truth Data. I can honestly say that our professional interaction grew into a friendship. Matt's infectious optimism, great sense of humor, and consistent encouragement lifted my spirits on an almost daily basis. He was a true professional and just a good man. His deep love for his family was evident, even through our frequent phone calls and text messages. I pray for God's peace that passes...

Matthew was such a great guy. We enjoyed his visits at our lake cottage. Summers won't be the same without him. So sorry for your loss.

Jackie and family, we are so sorry to read about Matt's passing. You are all in our thoughts at this difficult time. Karen and Herman

My condolences to Jackie and the girls. I hope the great memories you have of Matt will get you through these next few days.

I had the pleasure of serving with Matt while attached to HSL-47 many moons ago. His passion for all things Whirly Bird and Mech related was hard to surpass. I remember clearly the depth of knowledge he retained was on par with Wikipedia, and even better was his willingness to share it with everyone around him.

A loving Father, supremely successful Chief, and devoted Mentor... Matt was all of these things, and so much more. I share my condolences with the Family as they process...

Condolences to the family! My son, Richard Chedester, was a hockey partner of Matt. May he Rest In Peace and God provide comfort to each of you as you grieve.
