Shawna,
I just want you to know how much of an impact you and Brett left on us in just the one week we got to know you on the cruise. It was evident that you two are great people and a ton of fun. You never let on how accomplished Brett is. Please know that our hearts are with you. I would imagine Brett is skiing the clouds now and flying as free as ever. Take solice in knowing that you will be together again. In just one week we felt like you were old friends. Our hearts are with...

Shawna,

We were so sorry to hear of Brett's passing. Wow! What a guy. We'll never forget his positive attitude and infectious smile. You had a wonderful marriage and companionship being able to do so many athletic sports together. We enjoyed having you in our ward for those years you were here. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. What wonderful memories you have to rely on.

Your tribute to Brett was amazing. I could see/feel Brett hanging from one of those lights above everyone swaying gently back and forth and beaming with love and pride on how all of his family conducted his service. Beautiful words and music. You are an amazing family and I am glad to have been able to share some of your adventures through Brett's stories.
Thanks for the added stories and memories at the 'celebration' of his life, and what a LIFE that was. Thank you for sharing him with...

Shawna, it has been many, many years since I've seen you and Brett but I always counted both of you as my friends. I remember when I first met Brett at a paraski meet. He was a great young (very young) skier but couldn't hit the side of the mountain. The "old pros" (at accuracy) really razed him and he took it with a smile never leaving his face. It didn't take long for him to be not only the best racer but one of the best skydivers as well. He had such a passion for everything he did. ...

Shawna, Our deepest sympathy is with your family. You and Brett have always been so loving and supportive to each other and a great example. I have always appreciated your kindness and pray you will be comforted by the knowledge of your eternal family. Our prayers are with you all. Love, Laurie

My deepest regards to the Pendleton family. Brett was more than just a man. He was a great example and leader to me.
I send you all my love!
Adam

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Shawna, We were shocked and saddened to hear the news about Brett. The two of you have always been in our eyes the perfect example of the type of loving, active couple we'd like to emulate and hope to be for years to come. He was always one of the friendliest people at the point. I know he lived life to the fullest and did more in his lifetime than most people dream of. We'll miss seeing him regularly in the air at the point of the mountain but are sure that he's now managed to set a new...
