Dear Tom, Cathy & family, I just found out about the death of Matt and am mourning with you and also praying that God will be with you all in a powerful way and give you His peace. I am praying for you, Grace and their baby. Philippians 4:7.

I remember how Tom lovingly referred to him as "Pumpkin." My condolences Tom, Kathy and family.

Tom and Cathy, My mom, Marcie Lachance, was lucky to be Matt's preschool teacher. She doesn't have a computer but she wanted to share her condolences. Thought and prayers are with you and your family.

I had the pleasure of teaching Matt fourth grade at Humann Elementary School. I remember him as a student who worked hard in the classroom and played hard on the playground. Matt was well liked and respected by students and staff alike. I am heart broken to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family!

I am deeply overwhelmed in sadness for your loss of a fine son, husband, brother. I knew Matthew as a fine very young lad in pre-school days. He was one of my all time favorite little guys.
