Dear Lynette and Michael,

I just learned the news about Matt. Sadness and shock are all I'm feeling right now. I remember Matt so well from both Elinor St. and the french school. He was such a sweet third grader. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers for months to come.

Love, Karen Duncan

Lynette and Michael,
I have so many treasured memories with Matt. We spent countless hours together in high school and he was such a warm, generous and considerate friend. Thank you Lynette for always opening your house to me. My thoughts are with Matt and all of your family.

Dear Lynette,
I was shocked and saddened to read Matthew's obituary in today's paper. I am so sorry. I emailed my son Peter (who was in your fourth grad class and a friend of Matthew's). I don't know if he and Matthew had kept in touch, but I am sure Peter will be saddened by this news. My thoughts are with you.
