To the Schroeder family, I have thought daily about Matthew since his passing and my prayers have been with all of you and all of his friends. I have watched my son Jason struggle with the reality of life and death since loosing his good friend and I have searched to find the words to have it all make sense to him... Your son, my friend, your brother, my brother had given me such great advice and character-molding qualities that had radiated from you. I know you know how much I loved Matt. I knew your son because he worked with my son who is autistic at Wheeler Middle School. Mr. Matt was truly one of a kind.
