I met Matt only once, but he made an incredible impression on me. He was kind, funny, sweet, extremely upbeat and happy. I wish I had spent time to get to know him more.

Sending out my deep sympathies to his family. He was a bright light whose time in this world was far too short.

Once in a while you meet someone who causes you to pause. Their warmth, authenticity, contagious smile and willingness to go the extra mile for friends and colleagues stand out. They are the type of person that you like being around and having around; others just naturally gravitate towards them because they warm up the room. Matt was one of those people, and I respected (and admired) the hell out of him.

It was a pleasure to have known Matt, full of life and a devoted father. The first I met Matt at our UK office, it was obvious how his girls meant the world to him.

Over a team lunch he shared how one day he had the girls and they were putting all the chairs in the house together and jumping over them and hanging over them. They were having so much fun until one of them hurt herself. He called them my three little birds !

My heartfelt condolences to Matt's daughters, family and friends. I only met Matt in person a few times through work, but he was the type of person you'd never forget. Great charisma and kindness. RIP Matt. You will be missed by so many I am sure.

I had the pleasure of working with Matt for several years at SiriusDecisions . He was always generous with his time and knowledge. But what I will never forget is his genuine interest in helping others and of course his smile. He will be greatly missed.
