I met Matt only once, but he made an incredible impression on me. He was kind, funny, sweet, extremely upbeat and happy. I wish I had spent time to get to know him more.
Sending out my deep sympathies to his family. He was a bright light whose time in this world was far too short.

Once in a while you meet someone who causes you to pause. Their warmth, authenticity, contagious smile and willingness to go the extra mile for friends and colleagues stand out. They are the type of person that you like being around and having around; others just naturally gravitate towards them because they warm up the room. Matt was one of those people, and I respected (and admired) the hell out of him.
I worked with Matt as a client for 4 years, so I can't claim to have had a particularly close friendship with him, but I spent a bit of time with him over the years: Paris for a workshop, drinks in Nashville, a myriad of phone calls (seems there are a few other times too), but his joy for life, his warmth and character were always evident. His actions spoke volumes. He lived his values with passion, enthusiasm and integrity and he also challenged me to do the same -- more than once. The world won't be as bright without you Matt, but we will carry that torch as best we can. Dan

It was a pleasure to have known Matt, full of life and a devoted father. The first I met Matt at our UK office, it was obvious how his girls meant the world to him.
Over a team lunch he shared how one day he had the girls and they were putting all the chairs in the house together and jumping over them and hanging over them. They were having so much fun until one of them hurt herself. He called them my three little birds !
My deepest condolences to the family and his three beautiful daughters !

I had the pleasure of working with Matt for several years at SiriusDecisions . He was always generous with his time and knowledge. But what I will never forget is his genuine interest in helping others and of course his smile. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Senatore Family,
I have wonderful memories of having worked with Matt since he joined SiriusDecisions in 2013. Matt was not only very talented at his job but he was a wonderful caring person to all those around him. His smile was infectious and he made my day each time I saw him. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I have had the pleasure of working with Matt over the last year. He was the leading ABM analyst and so he covered my company and the space. I got to know Matt well as an advisor and friend. He was diligent about his work - wanting to ensure he understood every detail correctly, putting in tons of preparation for presentations, and a stickler for details. I was actually on a call with him last week and he found a small spelling error in my presentation - no one else would have noticed... but Matt did!
Matt and I quickly became friends. I think it was his nature to make friends easily as he was so caring and approachable. We talked a lot about our personal goals and his kids - whom he adored.
When we started an industry talk show I knew Matt had to be a guest. He was reluctant because he said he hated being on camera, but I knew he would be fantastic. Of course he was perfect - Witty, smart, engaging and he looked dapper in his blue blazer.
What a loss to us all.

Heartfelt condolences to Mia, Emma, and Reese and other family members. Matt was a treasured friend of my three daughters, from their years at Sunnyridge into adulthood. My wife and I thought very highly of Matt and although we didn't interact with him in later years as much as our daughters did, we will miss him. May the Lord Jesus Christ comfort you and sustain you in coming days.

I didn't know Matt that well because he was often spending time with his girls. When we did hang out he showed that he was a great storyteller and a brilliant man but most importantly clearly a dedicated father. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
