Not sure what to say?

Matt, I'll never forget your smiling face and our talks in your office and those cups of coffees you so graciously offered me when I was stressing out. Thank you for all the times you listened and understood. Where did the time go my friend, all the lunches we missed out on and the laughter of sorts we could of shared. Safe Journey my friend, you are missed.

Matt was my older brother, and he always did a terrific job of it! He was protective, caring, and always great company. We shared many good times together as children and as adults, and I cannot imagine going through the rest of my life without him. He was my best friend. Everyone has their faults, but in his case they were few and far between -- he truly was an exceptional person. I love you, Bro.

I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Stickler in the Orderly Room of HHD STARC as a weekend soldier. His experiences, humor, insights and his enjoyment of life was truly evident. I was proud to be part of his Guard family.

We talked at Christmas time about skiing together one last season. While I am sad not to be able to ski with you, I know there is a lot more snow where you are at now. So long old friend.

I'm honored to say Matt was a friend of mine and a comrade in the Washington National Guard. In addition to his attributes already listed, he was also a wonderful cook. Matt, you will be missed. CathyJo

Matt was a truly good man. He would light up your day with his presents. We will miss him at the race tracks.
