He was my dad I miss him

I always remember you on your birthday and when hockey season starts. I remember the fun times we had at the panther games in sunrise with my mom.
I know you’re in a better place and are watching over your kids.

I will think of you as I watch hockey this year. Im sure youve started a hockey league in heaven. Youve won your Stanley Cup.

Just now hearing about Mathew's passing, I'm so sorry, my thoughts and prayers are with the Waid family. I grew up with Matt in Mexico and have great memories of a fun childhood with the Waid boys. Everytime I got in any trouble, somehow Matt was there. Not sure who was the instigator but we stood up for each other. You can't ask for a better friend than Matt.

Matt was my friend and I will miss him immensely. My deepest condolences to the Waid family and may you find peace; my thoughts and prayers to you.
