There are some patients that you move on to your next assignment and forget their name the next day, and there are some that you remember forever. In the 3 days I took care of Matt I began to love him and his family, they allowed me into their lives at one of the toughest times. I wish the best for all of my patients and their families. Unfortunately, liver failure is a tough illness that can hit suddenly and progress rapidly, with or without transplantation many patients do not survive....
