To The Jackson Family,

My memories go all the way back to Maurice standing under my window downstairs by the dumpster on 13th, in John Henry Hale flirting with me.

I just returned from Nashville, to attend my cousin's funeral (Leo Edmondson).

My husband died this past February

For a lot of those years, you were my man, my love. But even when we were separated, nobody was ever surprised to see us together. We had a connection that kept drawing us together, year after year, after year. We’d become a habit. And we never stopped coming in and out of each other’s lives. It’s hard to accept that you’ll...
