Maurice Kanbar

I miss seeing Maurice during the holiday season, but I will never forget his energy, imagination and kindness.

RIP. We never met, we spoke few times on the phone. I wanted to find out if we were somehow related. He was generous with his time.

Once I asked him why he was so generous and he said words to live by: "If you have more than you need, give to others."

May this individual be remembered for what he truly was. I need say no more.

So sorry to hear of the passing of my old friend Maury. He was a wonderful, brilliant person and will be missed.

Maurice and I were friends for more than fifty years. His imagination and intellectual courage were an inspiration to me and to my family. His generosity made a profound difference in our lives. Blessings to you, dear Maurice. Rest in Peace

Maurice, We always were grateful for your advice and help in sustaining The Tibet Vision Project for the many years of its existence. It was the meetings at Perry's, your home and mine where you shined, light the light you helped to bring to the darkest corners of Tibet. Many thousands of Tibetans are seeing today thanks to you and all of the facets of aid you gave. Too many wonderful stories to tell.
