I could write a book about Maurice. When he was a freshman in high school, he was learning algebra and French. I was in kindergarten, and he taught me algebra and French! In first grade, my teacher was wandering around the room and saw me dawdling during an arithmetic test. She started reprimanding me until she noted that I had finished her exam, and I was setting up and solving quadratic equations. She promptly skipped me to second grade.
