Dear Cohen Family,
I was Max's neighbor and friend from Toronto. I had visited him in Buffalo. Learning about his passing is devastating. His charisma will not be replaced. I just wish I could go back to Buffalo with him and eat some wings again.

Max is so very dear to my heart. I lived with him for two years in Toronto while in university. He was an extraordinary individual who possessed a unique genius, and incredibly big/ generous heart. I will miss him tremendously. His soul should be elevated back to its Source, and may God bring your family much solace.

Very sorry to hear about your untimely loss; my daughter Shira Nava met Max on the Israel Birthright Trip a few years ago and recalls fond memories of their friendship for even the brief time they were on the trip. Shira sends her warmest sympathies to the Cohen family.

While in Toronto Max found his way into each family members heart with his lively enthusiasm and charm. We shared many meals together.
