Dear Cohen Family,
I was Max's neighbor and friend from Toronto. I had visited him in Buffalo. Learning about his passing is devastating. His charisma will not be replaced. I just wish I could go back to Buffalo with him and eat some wings again.

Max is so very dear to my heart. I lived with him for two years in Toronto while in university. He was an extraordinary individual who possessed a unique genius, and incredibly big/ generous heart. I will miss him tremendously. His soul should be elevated back to its Source, and may God bring your family much solace.

Words can not describe the sadness we feel upon hearing of Max's sudden passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. While in Toronto Max found his way into each family members heart with his lively enthusiasm and charm. We shared many meals together. Max lived in the same building as me in Toronto. He was even my roommate for a short time, I have so many memories with Max and all the crazy fun times we had togther. Max is passing is such a shock ,he was a great guy with a huge heart. R.I.P to my buddy in crime thanks for the great memories.

I walk with a heavy heart knowing Max is no longer here. I love you Michele and Sam, and know the whole Selva clan is thinking of you often. He was such a presence in my life.
