Not sure what to say?

I recently found two VHS tapes that Max had sent me probably around the early 2000s when I had small animation studio. Although we never met his work was full of humour and quite memorable. One was his demo reel from 1998 and another was a film in progression called the Daily Planner from 2002. From the many wonderful tributes that I have read, I wish that I had met been able to hire him back in the day. I will send the tapes to the trust that was set up for his work listed in the obituary....

In memory of Max
stroke me, winds, with news from each quarter: rest on me
stroke me, sun, your light heats my heart: rest on me
stroke me, moon, my health in your whiteness: rest on me
stroke me, elements, your showers wash me clean: rest on me
peace in me,
silence
forever loved forever missed

Max-
I think of you everyday, especially around the streets and back lots we grew up in.
Playing between fences and lifting rocks or storming imagined fortresses together. Creating elaborate backstories for neighbors we never met. You and Nat were my partners in play...You were always a window for me into myself - you helped me see things that were absurd in my life or in the world we both lived in. Thank you for being a part of my life Max, I hope you know how much you meant.

I will miss you every remaining day I have left on this Earth, Max. You were such a dear companion to me and I will struggle to get over your physical absense. You are with me in every experience I have. Thank you for giving me such insight. Thank you Maire and Antonio and Gabriella for your bravery and sensitivity. I hope we continue to be neighbors in life.

Max.
Max you have been part of the tapestry of childhood i hold. I will forever miss missed opportunities to soak up your company, humor , and friendship. I watched you offer the very best version of friendship to Nathaniel. I will miss you more then can be said.

Thank you for leading with such an example of fortitude and focus. You Max are beautiful and amazing.
You are missed and deeply loved.

My heart and love extend to Maire, Antonio, and Gabriella. I love you three...

My deepest sympathy goes out to Maire, Antonio and Gabriella. Max's gentle manner and kind heart will be rememebered by many. My thoughts are with you.

To the Coniglio family-
I am shocked and very saddened to hear of Max's passing. I worked with him at Tom Snyder/Soup2Nuts and always admired his sense of humor and incredible talent. In the early days of the studio we spent many enjoyable hours competing in ping pong tournaments. Later when Max had moved onto other things it was a treat to speak with him whenever he came into the studio for freelance assignments. My condolences.

Max, I will miss your gentle way, sense of humor, smile, the whole person you were. I hope your spirit finds it way and can now rest pain free in peace. You will never be forgotten.
I wish healing for Maire, Gabriella and Antonio.
Love Ani

I didn't know Max too well but enjoyed talking and joking with him at parties here and there. He was a warm and intelligent guy who'll be missed by a lot of people.
