Not sure what to say?

It is difficult to believe that it has been ten years since Max's death. I considered him a good friend. We had studying/testing for AVDC in common. I always enjoyed his friendship. We often walked the early morning fun run at the Forum together. I miss you Max!

Mac was my favorite AVDC study buddy! I always enjoyed visiting with him at the Forum.

So saddened to learn of Max's death. We only knew him a short time, but were much the richer for the experience. To Judy, my lifelong friend, I send my love and sorrow.

Dr Herman visited the practice I work at in the 90's to teach us dentistry techniques. He brought us into the modern world with new equipment and his patient teachings. I really enjoyed working with him and all of his stories and knowledge. I don't know where he got all of his energy but it served him well. I think of him often and fondly. I just heard of his passing and want to offer my sympathies to his loved ones. He will be missed.

It has been my pleasure to catch up with Max over the past decade or more at the annual Vet Dentistry Forums.
I especially remember that prior to last last years forum I spent the day with Max and his wife touring the city of Seattle. It was a most memorable outing.
Max was always friendly and helpful and I truly regret his passing

I was blessed to have known Max during our forays into veterinary dentistry - he always put a smile on my file. I am so glad he was able to come to the forum last year with Judy. He is an inspiration to all.

I'm very saddened to learn of Max's passing. I've known him since the late 90's and recall when he finally passed the dental boards. I spent many days at his dental clinic while I was tracking on the alternate pathway. I have many fond memories of my time with Max, working on dental cases. His accumulated dental library which he used while studying for the boards was quite extensive. He was always available, eager and willing to spend time with me and help me out. He designed my dental...

I was privileged to call Dr. Max Herman friend and colleague. We studied veterinary dentistry together, roomed together at meetings, and shared our passion for dentistry. I got to know him as a friend....he told me of his life and the good and the bad. He made it to the highest level of oral care; Diplomate of the AVDC. I salute you once more tonight my friend. You and I had a "hell of a journey" together. Tonight your journey brings you the greatest peace. You will be missed.

Dear Family,
Max was great guy to see at the Annual Dental Forum over the past 20 years and always fun to catch up on his latest case of success. Max got bumped from his room in Baltimore a few years back so he bunked in w/3 other vet. colleagues w/ a roll-a-way- it was fun and a crowd- four us in twin bed room and two roll-a-ways! My thoughts and prayers to you all.
