Not sure what to say?

I'll always be grateful to Max Sr. for spending 3 months after my return from Vietnam helping me to come to God and to assimilate back into civilian life. He is always on my mind. I spent time with his family including Max Jr. And thank you to Max Jr. for writing me a letter informing me of his father's passing.

I miss Max, a really good person, who was alway upbeat and positive which is so much needed today.

I doubt seriously that anyone needs reminding about Max Long -- everyone who knew him will remember him all the days of their lives. I lived in Maitland, Fla. many years ago when my kiddos were small and didn't find out for some years that Max and Ferrell lived right around the corner from us. Wish I had known sooner because almost as soon as we moved is when I found out. He was a wonderful husband, father and I'm sure grandfather.

It has been a while, Max is one of three brothers, whom I always looked up to and admired, always enjoyed being around Max(as well as his other two brothers), always a lot of good laughter, and yet, Max had a serious side. He was a great guy.

Ferrell and family:
We were so saddened to hear of Max's passing. We will always remember him. He was a wonderful, caring person and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

TO THE FAMILY THINGING OF ALL OF YOU AT THIS MAY GOD BLESS. BELINDA DIAZ CONNELL

Ferrell and Family,
My love and prayers are with you and the family.
I will always remember you and Max walking down the corridor at FBC. You are a very special lady and I know that you will rally miss Max, but we both know that his is home with JESUS. If there is anything I can do for you, please do not hesitate in calling me.
