It is great to read all of the wonderful things people have written about Max. We love Max very much and we appreciate all the things he taught us in his life and in his death. He truly loved all of his family and friends and we will miss him very much.

Dear President Shumway and Family,

Max was my big brother and I loved him very much. He had such a tender and loving heart. He was never afraid to say "I love you". I love him so much and will miss him greatly. He always made me feel like what happened in my life was important to him. I am expecting my first child in December, and Max was so excited for me. Every time I saw him he would put his hands on my belly and talk to my baby, saying "Hi Lucy, It's Uncle Max. I can't wait to meet you" It was so sweet. I regret...
