I lived across the street from the Steger's when I was growing up. My fondest memory of Max was the following: Renee, Bryan, and I were having a snowball fight in their driveway. A snowball skimmed across my eye, gently removing my contact. A few weeks later, Max came to our door with a miraculously found contact. He will be missed, but will stay in our hearts.
