Not sure what to say?

Maxine, not a day goes by without my thinking about you. It was so unfair to have your "life" snuffed out as it was, but your "life" lives on in all the people you touched. And I am lucky to be one of those people -- I will remember you always. Miss you and our wonderful dinners together - your picture is in my home as a reminder of you - a beautiful person both inside and out. Caring - about all creatures, large and small. You are an inspiration to us all. Love you girl, Sara

I am a Bonnerwith, Maybe you may have heard of me but i never knew Maxine, my name is Zakiah Lynn Bonnerwith, I hope to learn more about my family history someday.

Max--
What can I say? I miss your morning calls, your smile, your zest for life, your positive outlook, your enthusiasm, your advice, your stories, YOU!! I was so blessed to have you in our lives for as long as we did. You became a wonderful "surrogate grandma" and I'm going to miss sharing all the wonderful moments and holidays with you.
I know you're there watching over all of us--you did bring us (your friends) together. You're my angel!!
Love you girlfriend,
Alice

Big Sur Marathon 1995

Each morning Maxine would call from her daily walk usually to just chat or laugh about some silly adventure we had. We seemed to get the biggest giggles over things others may think strange, however that is how Maxine was a friend you could be yourself. We travelled together to many places and had definitely walked the days away. We shared a special friendship as most each of us have with her. We are many different persons sharing many different sides of Maxine. The one common bond we...

Love you girlfriend! You will be so incredibly missed. You insisted on being my friend almost 10 years ago when I was going through a rough time in my life. And, we became such wonderful buddies. We enjoyed our travels to New Zealand, London, Mont Saint Michel, Vancouver, Napa, Boca, Miami Beach...and just going to the movies, a goofy play, or sharing an entree at some new restaurant with a great bottle of wine. We loved our Porsches, our cats, our disagreements over the latest political...

Maxine was my one of my best friends meeting her in the Bahamas as we both were on sailboats about 24 yrs. ago and we instantly became great friends. We shared many wonderful dinners together with great wine and celebrating our June birthdays together for years, yes this past June being our last one together.

A beautiful person in every way. Oh, how I miss my dear friend.

and "Don't forget to have a terrific day", she often would say.

Our dear friend has departed but there are many, many fond memories that will always remind us of her. For one, we are the proud "parents" of Maxine's two cats, "Simba" and "Shadow" which we picked up in Florida and brought to California. We were in Florida the next day after we heard the news but still refused to believe Maxine was really gone even after we arrived. Her Memorial Service and luncheon was attended by many good friends and relatives.

We are sure Maxine is...

We pray to be healed by laughter and by memories.

The world is filled with blessings to be thankful for,our blessing was having you in our lives. Your beautiful smile, infectious laugh and your heart of gold. We love you Maxine and you will forever and always be in our hearts.

Till we meet again sweet lady
