Not sure what to say?

I'm about to be 29 years old she was my teacher she was always nice to me and everybody I still think about her all the time she was kind hearted like I am she was like a mother to me we will always remember her in are hearts

Miss valverde is the best teacher I ever had. the night I found out I was one of her students and I remember that morning she hadn’t made it to work and I was so sad. A couple days or maybe that night I had heard the horrible news and it broke me I was devastated, I didn’t wanna go back to school and I mourned when she left this world. I am now 28 and still remember her sweet face welcoming us into her esl class and being so kind. she always did her best with us and never gave up she changed...

I remember that big smile and wonderful conversations during our time at UTPB, May the Lord keep her soul.

Manny, we are so very sorry for your loss. Mayra's sweetness was so evident, though we only knew her for a brief period. We have thought of you often and hope God will touch and heal your heart.

though I never knew my sister, I look forward to seeing her in the new system. May Jehovah comfort her family till we see her again.
Love, your sister in California, Velia Cano

I knew Mayra since the sixth grade. She was the best friend one could ever have. We went to junior high school togther and also ninth grade in high school. She was always laughing and had a huge smile on her face. If anyone of our friends were down she would always make us smile. Of all of our friends she had the most dreams, and all her most dearest dreams came true. I offer condolences to the family Navarrette and family Valverde for this loss. I will miss her very much. For this earth has...

Mayra was a wonderful person with a sweet spirit. She and her sister Maribel were always ready with a smile while they were students at UTPB. They kept busy uplifting others and working hard to reach their goals. We will miss Mayra so much, but we are so proud of her accomplishments. To Manny, Maribel and all the family: I am praying for you and hoping that you will remember and know that we all recognize what a difference Mayra made in her 22 years on this earth. May God bless all of you.
