Not sure what to say?

We still miss Mel and Phyllis, it was a joy to be next door. Mel was a good man, we had a lot of laughs and tears together, My heart hurt for him when Phyllis died, I would go over in his yard, and hold him as he cried. He was tender, loving and would always ask, do you need anything, a prayer or a cup of sugar? He was special and I know that Heavenly Father will bless him for the good work he did while on earth. Peace to their family is my prayer.

Mel and Phyllis were such good friends while we were at First Baptist. We went to your house for a pig roast which we did several years. This night was different. The pig caught fire when Mel went to sleep. Needless to say he had to get another, prep and start it cooking in the middle of the night. It was a little late getting done but was so good. Also good to see the kids(his and all the class members) running around and having a great time. Those are the things I want to remember about...

My dear friend Mel, I will miss you. Family, Mel was a great neighbor to Bill and Me, Phyllis was a true friend that was such a joy, I know how much Mel loved her. I know he is happy to be reunited with his family, he truly was a family man, kind, helpful and very much a a friend to everyone. God bless you, we are thinking of you and pray for peace in your hearts. Bill and Susan Dawson

Bob and Melinda, Sharon and I are so sorry for the loss of Mel, and rejoice that He is with the Father, safe from hurt, and Thank God for His service to spreading the Gospel.

Dear Family,
