Gail & Family: So sorry to hear of Mel's passing. He was one of a kind; so were you. You were the absolutely most gorgeous and the absolutely funniest friend EVER. I know these qualities are still with you and passed down to your family members during this difficult time and beyond. Much love....

Gail: One of the highlights of our 50th Reunion was seeing you and Mel. It was as if we were back in 1960 again. I remember those wonderful spring afternoons at the baseball field watching Mel, Coach Dodge and the Tiger baseball players. We are thinking of you at this time and sending our love to you and your family. Love, Laurie Ruda Smith
