Not sure what to say?

Peace my Friend.May you suffer no more as you walk with the Father on Streets made of Gold.

Mel was unique -- I have never met a more compassionate man in my life. I feel privileged to have known him, work with him and call him Friend. Our hearts and prayers are with you Ruth and Family please know that Mel lives on in our hearts!

Kay and Robert Parker, The Parker Family and Royal Hanneford Circus Staff and Performers Thank you for being you!

RIP Mel ---Heaven is a little bit brighter ----

To the Family of Mel Saunders: I am very sorry for your loss, thoughts are with all of you. There is a special place for him w/my Dad & his fellow Shriners who did so much for their "kids".

Pat (Seldon) Davis
daughter of Thelma Seldon & the late Bill Seldon.

There are countless children who are amazed by the balloon art Mel taught me, the way to make a child laugh or be at ease around clowns; to never forget you hold their little hearts in your hands for a few moments - and to never take life too seriously. We laughed, clowned, learned, did some business but in the end - 30+ years later - the thought of "MoMo" still makes me smile. I enjoyed our times together - even the Wartburg, IL town picnic! "Fair Seas and Following Winds", my old friend.

Being his nurse was such a blessing for me. Mel was a joy to visit with. Always smiling, no matter how much I was "torturing " him! My thoughts & prayers are with you Ruth.

Our deepest thoughts are with you and your family during this time of loss. Mel will be missed at Morocco. Hope to see you back with us soon.

Our warmest thoughts and prayers on a very sad occasion but lightened by great memories of family picnics and visits to our children's parties by MoMo. A great cousin and friend

Brother Mel...We are deeply saddened with the passing of my dear brother-in-law. He leaves many years of wonderful memories and was always there to help Sandy and me during our early years. He leaves Mel, David and Debra to carry on he great since of humor. Our prayers go out to Ruth and all family members.

My sincere sympathy to the entire Saunders family! I am going to miss this guy so much! There are people in your life that you meet that touch you like no others. Mel was my dear friend and my brother. I am so saddened by his passing and still cannot believe he is gone to the big top in the sky! RIP my dear friend......Thank you for the journey and all that you did to enrich my life.
