NEW LONDON - Melissa “Missy” Renee Dorsett of Elrin Place, New London CT, left this world suddenly on November 30, 2021 at age 36. She was born to Kathleen Dhir and Frank Dorsett in New London on September 19, 1985.
Missy was a loving mother and leaves behind her three children, Alexia, Antonio, and Angelo of New London. She also leaves behind both her parents, three sisters and two brothers; Julie, Kevin, Jennifer, Lisa, and Joseph ,along with many nieces, nephews and numerous family members and friends, and her favorite four legged child Stella.
After graduating from high school, she chased her dreams of becoming a hairdresser. She was talented and loved making her clients look and feel beautiful at Foxwoods’ GSpa. She also loved working with children and enjoyed working as a para-professional for the Montville Board of Education.
Missy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the beach and loved trying new activities. She was young, beautiful, vibrant, and full of life. She was a caring mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Monday December 20th at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, 10 Huntington New London, CT

I'm heartbroken to hear of this news, I was a client of Missy's at gspa and became friends she was the nicest, warmest most lovely woman, so beautiful and vibrant just like was written about her. She came out to ride horses with me with her children once years ago. My deepest sympathy to her friends and family.
