Dear Wayne, Lauren, Courtney, Morgan and Ryan,
Our deepest sympathies go out to you. We fondly remember seeing Melodie out at the Farm, how wonderful and kind she was. She always had a smile on her face. You will be kept in our thoughts and prayers.

To Melodie's family-

You had the joy of her passion, dignity and grace on a daily basis. Such a gift ! I remember watching her on TV, but she touched my life personally through ABCD. In the mentor training class I found out that she was involved in picking each mentor/mentee pair. I will continue my best to help keep her memory and that legacy alive.

Melodie touched a lot of people near and far. Her strength and fight will be remembered forever. Your family is in my prayers

Dear Oldenburg Family,
What an incredible gift you had in Melodie. Though she only walked the earth for what seemed a short time, the time did walk was priceless. A light has dimmed now that she is gone, she will never be forgoten. I pray you heal in time and find comfort in the fact she gave of herself to you and others.

Melodie you were one of a kind, the best. You will be remembered always in our community and state.

Dear Oldenburg family,
My deepest sympathy at the passing of Melodie. She taught us by her beautiful example how to live in the face of a terminal illness and to keep on living and doing for others.

May God be with you all in a very special way and know Melodie is not very far off but a bright shining star always and forever looking down upon you and Milwaukee.
Sincerely, Angie Spence

Dear Wayne and kids,

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. My first introduction to your Mom was when I was Morgan's soccer coach when she was maybe 12. We played on a cold rainy day and there she was, on the sidelines, one of our only fans and she even brought the treats. A few years later Wayne offered to be my mentor for three years and I learned more about the incredible family Melodie founded and helped guide. At the root of the enormous public figure and great deeds and...

DEAR OLDENBURG FAMILY.

I LOVED WATCHING MELODY WHEN SHE WAS ON THE NEWS. MELODY WILL BE VERY MUCH MISSED.
GOD BLESS YOUR WHOLE FAMILY.
