Not sure what to say?

After knowing "Uncle"Merle for the last 40 years of my life .. it's hard to imagine this world without him .. I will truly miss him.

It came as a shock to learn that Merle Austin passed away in December, 2018.

What a very fine person he was. I remember him as a great basketball player at McClatchy High School. I don't believe they ever lost a game, and I saw every game - They were real Champions.

He was a really fine person. and he will be missed by many.

Merle was one of the nicest, kindest people I have ever known. He taught me a lot about the electrical business and helped me improve my personal life. I am forever gratefull.

Merle will forever live in my heart as one of the most caring people I've known. What a wonderful example of steadfast faith and dedication to family his life has been. I miss him deeply, and mourn with all who loved him.

To know them was to love them. They were so full of love and shared that with all who had the privilege to know them. They are together again, Merle and Vi; they were bright lights of love and our world is dimmer in their absence but the other side must be that much brighter now!

Just wanted you to know how wonderful your father was. It has been a very long time since I have seen you all. Your father was a helpful and loving when I was just a teenager. My father and my mother and my sister are all waiting at Heavens Gate to welcome him. Frank and Eunice and Cathy Strein. What a wonderful reunion we will have when we join our families. Sending you loving thoughts. Phyllis Hileman

What a privilege it was to know Merle, a truly good man. He will be sorely missed. Take comfort in knowing he is with his love Vi again and in the arms of the Lord.

Our hearts are with the Austin family. We will be thinking about the goood looking gentleman with so many, many favorite memories throughout the past years.
