Michael John "Andy" Andersen

Oh, Mr.Andersen, there´s so much I could say about him, but I´ll try and keep it to a minimum. I was a student of Mr.Andersen´s at Mount Tahoma High School. His class was my favorite class! My senior year, I looked forward to 3rd period and making jokes with him. I remember he had on jeans with bejeweled pockets and I made fun of him for them and he said "listen, my girlfriend bought them for me okay" with an eye roll, of course. He had the biggest heart and was so selfless. Even if you upset...

Andy always had a kind word and a good heart! always gave my son, Joe ,words of encouragement and hope...A Big hug to Andy! RIP sweetheart!

I am truly sorry to hear this news. I just loved working with him at lincoln Bowl. When it was really cold outside he would heat up his truck seats and let me sit and warm up. He was such a awesome guy.

Tom I just read this and am so sorry for your loss. I have fond crazy memories of babysitting your younger brothers (one crazy summer)!!!

We honor Mike for his sustained passion, mentoring and grace on the Tacoma area youth sports fields. Teaching and coaching - the art of empowerment to a new generation. Good man in our faith based community and will be missed. God Bless

I have a hole in my heart. I´ll miss our Andy, Randy, Candy dinners, laughter in the yard and having someone dissect all the football games.
